7km - Intermediate Runner-up in "Germany's Most Beautiful Hiking Trail 2024", this is a dreamily gorgeous hike among the rocks and woods of Bollendorf, only a stone's throw from the Luxembourg border. The engaging and discreet audio guide complements and adds fascinating extra insight into the sight, sounds and history of these enchanted woods. Highly recommended!
8.5km - Intermediate (steep in places). This "Dream Loop" offers a surprisingly challenging and varied hike, starting from Schengen and rising through the "Stromberg" nature reserve. The trail features shifting landscapes and countries, with steep sections and beautiful viewpoints. Recommended in dry weather only.
5km - Intermediate (rocky) A hands-on and engaging short tour of some of the Mullerthal's prettiest valleys AND, of course, spectacular views of the famed Beaufort Castle.

A wooden walkway sweeps an elegant curve over marshy land sodden with winter rain and melted snow. Behind us, the ancient stone walls of Beaufort Castle rise imposingly over a swollen stream. J11 "Sentier Culturel" - 10km - Moderate. The fictional town of "Manscheid" featured in Netlflix's hit series "Capitani" was filmed in and around the impossibly pretty village of Bourglinster. This hiking trail gives an excellent tour of the filming locations and history behind Luxembourg's favourite fictional place.
