Five rewarding alternatives to the crowded Schiessentรผmpel, from dark cave adventures to castle views and tranquil forest loops. More of the Mullerthal, less of the crowds.

A varied loop from Beaufort Castle blending solitude and scenery: deep, silent woods, a hidden WWII chapel, the peaceful Hallerbaach and the wilder Haupeschbaach.

A Mullerthal classic linking Consdorf with the Schiessentรผmpel waterfall. Ten kilometres of rocky forest paths and sandstone cliffs make this one of Luxembourgโs favourite hikes, challenging in places but unforgettable from start to finish.

A varied loop above the Sauer river, combining forest trails, sweeping viewpoints and a unique stretch of hidden WWII history.
A rewarding way to explore one of the prettiest bends in the valley.

A showstopper of a trail from Luxembourgโs oldest city into the regionโs wildest corners: dramatic gorges, high viewpoints, cave lookouts... and a stream that flows uphill?
Crowds? Quite possibly.
Worth it? Absolutely.

A peaceful loop through classic Mullerthal scenery: mossy rocks, hidden valleys, and gentle forest paths. Despite tracing the Mullerthal Trail, it remains blissfully uncrowded. One to savour.

This quiet loop trail connects two of Luxembourg's most magnificent castles, starting at the Larochette Tourist Information Office. It offers diverse scenery and picturesque views of both castles, amidst a backdrop of the Mullerthal's sublime natural beauty.
