The new 2025 Auto-Pédestre guide gives Luxembourg’s classic trails a modern refresh, adding regional gems to revamped existing AP trails. With 202(!) routes to choose from, here are five of my personal favourites.
11.5km - Challenging. This hike, starting from the church in Hoscheid, is challenging trail with over 500m altitude gain. Be prepared for steep descents, climbs... and the breathtaking "Molberlee" ridge. This is definitely one for more adventurous hikers seeking stunning views in an almost mountainous landscape that you probably never knew existed in Luxembourg!
13km - Challenging A demanding, invigorating tour of deep valleys and steep ridges, with a dash of history and some of the cleanest, crispest air in Luxembourg.
19.7km - Tough! - Physical fitness and some sure-footedness required Another demanding hike over lumpy terrain, finishing with a climb on the spellbinding "Molberlee".
