5 Hikes that Step Over the Border
Hiking across borders? In Luxembourg it couldn’t be simpler. Several trails slip effortlessly into neighbouring countries. Boots required, passport not needed.
Nat’Our Route 5 Vianden
13km – Challenging. A spectacular cross-border loop linking the castles of Vianden and Falkenstein. Expect sweeping views, punishing climbs, and the exhilarating Lätgesbierg ridge. Lace your boots up tight and watch your step!
Nat’Our Route 4 – The “Ourtalschleife”
16km – Intermediate. A quiet cross-border loop with silent forests, riverside paths, a hidden mega-power plant, the grandiose sweep of the Ourtalschleife, and the haunting ruins of Falkenstein Castle. All in all, a satisfying, off-the-beaten-path day on the trails.
