9km - Intermediate The twin "Manternacher Fiels" trails are medium difficulty hikes through remarkably diverse landscapes. Not as well-known as other trails, this is a captivating hiking area AND is very easily accessible from Luxembourg City.

Minett Trail: Pétange – Differdange
16.5km, but can be split into shorter segments. Intermediate. The Minett Trail from Pétange Gare to Differdange Gare features three distinct segments: Pétange to Fond-de-Gras (5.5km) is highly recommended, showcasing mining heritage and nature. Fond-de-Gras to Lasauvage (5km) is pleasant but not essential. Lasauvage to Differdange (6km) is unremarkable.
Eislek Pad Hoscheid
11.5km - Challenging. This hike, starting from the church in Hoscheid, is challenging trail with over 500m altitude gain. Be prepared for steep descents, climbs... and the breathtaking "Molberlee" ridge. This is definitely one for more adventurous hikers seeking stunning views in an almost mountainous landscape that you probably never knew existed in Luxembourg!
Guttland Trail Aarnescht
9.5km - Easy / moderate. The "Aarnescht" Guttland Trail near Niederanven offers a relatively easy hike with abundant orchids in May and June. The well-marked trail leads through woodlands and farmland to the almost-Mediterranean "Aarnescht" Natural Reserve, before continuing through wildlife-rich woods back to the starting point.

Grüne Hölle Bollendorf
7km - Intermediate Runner-up in "Germany's Most Beautiful Hiking Trail 2024", this is a dreamily gorgeous hike among the rocks and woods of Bollendorf, only a stone's throw from the Luxembourg border. The engaging and discreet audio guide complements and adds fascinating extra insight into the sight, sounds and history of these enchanted woods. Highly recommended!
Traumschleife Schengen
8.5km - Intermediate (steep in places). This "Dream Loop" offers a surprisingly challenging and varied hike, starting from Schengen and rising through the "Stromberg" nature reserve. The trail features shifting landscapes and countries, with steep sections and beautiful viewpoints. Recommended in dry weather only.
